What Is Dysport®?

Dysport® is a newer neuromodulator like the older BOTOX®, but it tends to work a little differently.  Some reports show that Dysport® diffuses more easily once injected, making it a good option for the crow’s feet and glabella (the space between the eyes). What Can I Expect During Treatment?

When Will I See Results?

Patients typically start to see results about five to ten days after receiving injections, and they will continue to improve over the course of the next one or two weeks. Initial results will set in more quickly for Dysport®, with full effect by one week. Results can last anywhere from three to six months, after which patients can come back for re-treatments as needed.  To ensure that every patient achieves the best result, quick follow up visits are scheduled to determine if additional units are needed.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Potential side effects include minor headache, swelling, bruising, itching and tenderness at the treatment site. However, these aftereffects are minor and typically go away within a few days after injections were administered.
